Goodyear Blimp

These are pictures of the Good year blimp that I took in Jefferson, IA on September 26^th, 2006. The blimp was at the airport to help celebrate the 40^th anniversary of a tire or a rubber company of some sort.

The blimp weights in at 12,000 pounds but with the helium on board and the buoyancy it had the blimp had an adjusted weight of 50 pounds. You will not it floating off its wheel in some of the pictures.
